My favorite part of going home for the holidays is Family.

Elinor, Drew & Luke watching my Dad make a fire.
Making them take an oath not to play with fire. He just confused them instead.
So cute!
Picking out his log for the fire.
Nothing like a little hand to hold!
Drew!
Elinor all ready to go outside!
Haha! Even though Luke is choking them they love it.
Ancient crayon set my Mom somehow managed to save from our childhood. Back when they had the Crayola contest to pick the color names!

Maryland Blizzard 2009

The first stages of the snow.
Nothing like a great fireplace for the winter.
My parent's gorgeous house in Pasadena, MD.
Nothing like untouched snow in the morning.
3-4 feet total, I believe.
Thought this was ironic. Want to lay out anyone?
Mom's rose bushes! Hybernating for winter.
Frozen, water lilly pads.
Nature is like a work of art.
A rose holding on.
Thought the color was so beautiful for having gone through a blizzard.
Our pier.
The beauty takes my breath away.
Little DOF action :)
I love the calm after a blizzard and they way the sun shines off the snow.

Nothing says winter and Christmas like a holly tree.
My little dog, Bo. He will stand there and eat the snow for forever.

It's Been Awhile... Pics of the Free State (MD)

Last of the roses in the fall before they die for the winter.
Mom has great gardens.
View from the backyard. Thought the sky looked insane.
Maryland fall is gorgeous.

My mother's little rock path.
My gorgeous German Shepard, Coco.

Got a new camera!

Yay! I finally don't just have a little digital anymore! I got the Sony DSLR A300 and I am very happy with it so far. The only problem is I somehow got a defective USB cord so I am unable to upload any of my pics yet! But I have been snapping away.

Photo Illustrations

I love St. Augustine. It is one of my favorite cities in the United States. Here are some photo illustrations to show you why I love this city.

I love how the trees have Spanish moss hanging from them. It adds such emotion and mystery.

Facade to a church in St. Augustine, Fla.

Everyone in St. Augustine has bikes or beach cruisers.

Graffiti, palm tree, me.

One of the many B&B's.

These flowers were originally pink.
